Jim Dawson: Songman (1971)

Kama Sutra KSBS 2035

This was a thrift shop find (99¢) in good but not great shape. (Image from discogs)

I see that Jim Dawson just had a "70th Birthday Bash" concert at The Cutting Room in New York City, which is a nice music venue where I was fortunate to catch a David Lindley solo concert last year. Surprisingly, the room was only about third full. What to make of that?

  1. Thanks for these song links. Haven't heard this album in years and I miss it. Hope you get around to posting more. Artist's web site says masters were lost or destroyed and this will never appear on CD, sadly.

  2. Thanks for your comment.

There have been CDs mastered from LPs in cases when the master tape is lost. That is possible here, and hopefully, it will happen some day.
